DTC-100S cable pinout config

I'm trying to find a pin-out diagram for the HD component cable DTC-100/S that came with my Canon camcorder. On the end of the cable is an MDR 14pin mini centronics plug. This one:

I want to make my own converter cable to adapt this plug to red/blue/green phonos but I can't find a pin config diagram anywhere and canon support have not been helpful.
I found this diagram on page 16 here:

but I don't know if it's correct for what I want to do, and I don't understand the symbols so thanks if you can help.
