IPOD Classic 160 TV out not working.

I think you all are missing the point.  I have a 160 GB Classic and i am stuck in Iraq with it.  This is my first iPod and I bought it over the Zune because of all the 3rd party accessories available for it.  Again you are all missing the point.  Apple is fleecing its costomers with this propriatery product, just like HP did years ago with computers.  My next item i buy will not be an Apple computer as planned, it will be a Zune.

If anyone is still interested....I have a 80Gig Ipod 5th gen video.  mine stopped video from the earphone jack after last update.  I did a restore to factory settings with itunes and now am able to use video out functions and the earjack.  good luck

I have a new ipod 160g and new ipod a/v cables and it still doen't work but I did buy I-CONCEPTS a/v cables for ipod and iphone and that works. They are about 25 bucks and you add a micro usb cable and you can also charge your ipod with them....
