3 pin XLR diagrams are reversed

3 pin XLR diagrams are the wrong way around. Looking at the male XLR, pin 1 is on the LEFT, pin 2 is on the RIGHT and pin 3 is at the bottom. The female XLR is of course the mirror image - Pin 2 on the left (facing), pin 1 on the right and Pin 3 at the bottom.

Just look at any XLR to prove this. The numbers are printed next to the pins!
