usb 4 pin to 10 pin

Is there any way that i can convert a 10 pin memory stick reader/player to a 4 pin usb host?.. I just want to expand my memory so I want it to convert as a usb host so i can put a external memor because i can't find any 50 pin converter to memory stick 10 pin so i'll just use a external hdd.. i hope someone can help me. TIA
