What is this weird SEGA cable?
« on: November 25, 2006, 00:54:51 »
I have a SEGA cable I haven't been able to identify.

It has a flat, female plug at each end with two rows of four pins on either side of a slot, with an empty space on both sides at the left end, looking into the plug.

The SEGA logo is molded into the top side of each plug. Overall length is 60"

So it's a 16-pin cable? A picture or drawing would help quite a bit, but offhand, the dreamcast has a 16-pin A/V connector.

Alright this kindahappeneded to me i know the problem you haven't used it in a while so probably what happened is it got a little warn out from plugging it in and unplugging it so much that the chip in it thats at the front in it is probably pushed back so it cant connect right so what i did to my memory card id unscrewed it with some tiny scissors and it turns out the memory card it self was push back so i got it back in place and it worked fine again so all you gotta do is unscrew it try to put back in its place if you cant unscrew it then use tweezers and pul it forward and if that is not the problem then take the cord with you to future shop and ask if they have any dont forget to bring it so then they know what cord your talkin about and then they can see if they have it

Hope it help with all my heart! :)
