Title: Lowrance Globalnav 12 Data Cable
Post by: smiderman on Jan 18, 2009, 07:27
Hi Everyone

just looking for some advice for making an interface cable to link a lowrance Globalnav 12 GPS to a PC.  I'm looking to transfer data off the gps to the pc.

The GPS has a round 6 pin plug and there are plenty of pinout diagrams but nothing for the 9 pin serial plug at the other end .

Any info / diagrams on both ends would be greatly appreciated

Regards

David  :)

g'day david,
Iwas looking for the exact same cable, and found it.
We have a lowrance globemap100 that uses the same interface cable:

                Part no. PC-D12BK..#99-26.........$34.00 us.

so,check out LOWRANCE.COM,They own a nother company called LEI Extras.inc
                They can supply the cables.

                                                             good luck       theatretech
