Hi!
I've tried to connect the the pin-out from pop-port to usb port directly as follows:
pop-port                                   to ------>    USB
3 - ACI - Auto-connect Ignition ---> short to 4
4 - Vout
5 - USB Vbus                            to -------> 1 - Vcc USB
6 - Fbus Rx/USB D+                  to -------> 2 - D+ USB
7 - Fbus Tx/USB D-                   to -------> 3 - D- USB
8 - GND - Data GND (Logic)       to -------> 4 - GND USB
the connection is OK, but the system (WinXP2) recognized as USB unkown.

Does anyone can advise what should I do? I have installed the DKU-5 driver before connecting the device, my phone is Nokia 3120.

Thank you very much!

Congratulations iced-tea!!!!!
You have made a DKU-2 cable !!!!

Detection of usb device as made because you close the power line of usb.
When this occurs, the usb controller interrogates the device in order to load the required drivers.
If this interrogation is not a success, the system is not capable to determine what kind of device is attached.

You can try to connect your bread toaster to usb port and the result is the same.

Nokia 3120 is not a usb device. (i think your toaster is not too)
