Hello All

I have a A/V Cable that has three connectors one end, Yellow, Red and White. This cable connects from HDMI to AV Composite 3 RCA CVBS Video Audio Converter and then the other end, which is a 3.5mm 4 pole jack connector connects to a little Philips projector. This works without problem.

The 3.5 mm connector is connected as follows from the sleeve on the left to the tip on the right:

Sleeve] 4 = ground| 3 = Video| 2 = Red/Audio| 1 = White/Audio } Tip

As I say this works but the cable is only about a metre long and I need a 5 meter cable, I have ordered two online:

This one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360919504715?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

and this one from amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0015YRVX4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

Neither work because the pinout is different..

I had no idea there were different varieties of these cables and I assumed as they had the yellow, red, white outputs (the same as the one I have that works) they would also work.

So before I waste more money or buy a soldiering iron  ;D

Could someone tell me what type of cable I need to order to get one that has the same pinouts as the one I already have?

Thanks
M
