Can someone help guiding me how to make a usb cable.  This cable has to be like the one on this link (http://www.wdc.com/en/products/accessories.asp?ProdID=170).  Its a double usb type-A to single usb mini-B connector. Thanks.

stoked

best guess: using standard usb males
connect the pins to thier corresponding pins (1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4, x to x if applicable)
find an end to match the one on the cable on the power supply you have, or if you do not have it, get a 5v SWITCHING(important, because some power supplies rated at 5v or 12v or whatever are not really 5v or 12v, but rely on the load to determine the voltage) power supply (500ma should be good, but if you think you need it go 1a) and a connector to match the end. connect the positive wire to pin1 and negative to pin 4

see this if you need pinouts

I WILL NOT guarintee this works, but i believe it should.
this also MAY damage your computer. be wary about it unless someone confirms it.
maybe find an old computer that noone cares about, and test it on that b4 using it on your main computer.
hope this helps.
