is incorrect with respect to the Audiovox CDM-8500VM (Virgin Mobile version)
By inspection of the supplied power supply, it can be seen that pin 5 is being used for (-) power supply connection.
The pinout I see is;
pin - function - Notes
1 - n.c. - Pin 1 is on the left with the keyboard facing up.
2 - (+)
3 - (+)
4 - n.c.
5 - (-)
6/22 - ???
Removing the cover from the phone confirms pins 2 and 3 are (+) and pins 5 and 6 are (-).
