Hey I recently built a charger for my ipod that works off of batteries ( http://nikosapi.tripod.com/mainpage/id56.html ). The odd thing is that when I probe around with a voltage meter on the usb female connector's pins, pins 1,2 and 3 Are putting out 5v (only pin 1 is supposed to be giving out 5v right?). Is this ok? My ipod doesn't seem to be harmed (I've used the charger for about 2 hours now and the ipod still works fine) I'm using one of those green usb to serial connectors (those microsoft ones that you would use to plug a usb mouse into a standerd serial port). Could this have something to do with it? (Please check the link you'll know what I'm talking about)
Thanks in advance,
