is there any way to back up data from sata note book hard drive via the serial port and hyperterminal i only have ide harddrive connectors and a seagate st91208222as and would like to hook it up without buying anything thanks
you could buy one of those 3.5" external USB/Firewire laptop HDD cases to slap it in (it would have to be for a SATA drive tho). they can be had for cheap and it would get the job done.
