Post by: megabyte on Oct 23, 2006, 14:20
Hay guys,

I have a need to personally construct a PCI riser card but can't find ANY information on the 'net about how to.

Is there any coupling capacitors necessary, what pins go to what, ect, ect, ect

Please help where you can :-)

Cheers very much

The riser is pretty straight forward. female pci conn. on one end and male conn. on the other. IMPORTANT. To my knowledge you cannot "hot plug" PCI cards. You will have to turn off the computer, remove card 1 , install card 2 and restart the PC.
