This is the main and backup (UltraBay) battery pinout.

THERMAL is a 10Kohm NTC resistor with the other pin connected to GND.

The i2c/smbus CLK and DATA lines of the battery have no internal pull-up resistors, therefor relying on the host systems pull-ups.
