Hi, came across this site and had a question. I have a Kensington 30 pin iPod connector for my car which allows me to control my iPod and iPhone via a Bluetooth link on my steering wheel. I left my dog unattended in the car and he chewed the 30 pin connector which now does not work. I have several Apple 30 pin connector wires from various devices that I purchased and am wondering how many wires actually connect to the 30 pin end? I was thinking it may be a simple matter of cutting the Kensington wire off and re-splicing it with an Apple wire? Kensington unfortunately does not make this model device anymore and I love having the convenience of controlling my iPhone or iPod using this. Until I get a definitive answer on whether I would be able to do this or not I am a little apprehensive about cutting the Kensington wire if they are not compatible. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help me with this. Best regards...
