CORRECT | Correct, very helpful, thanks! | APPROVED
INCORRECT | The 44 pin IDC (0.75) male connector at the controller peripherals pic, is left mirrored. Pin 44 are pin 1, 43 are pin 2,etc. | APPROVED
2008-08-27 17:21:00 | rev. 2 | INCORRECT | Hi there, The IDC connector must have 2mm (79mil) pitch rather than 75mil if I'm not wrong. Could you check it, please? Thank you, Tom | APPROVED |
2008-09-15 02:22:16 | rev. 2 | INCORRECT | First. These connectors have not 44 pin, but 43. The apsent pin is a key, protection from incorrect connection. Second. Male and female connectors should be mirror reflections of each other. P.S. | APPROVED |
2008-10-15 04:47:02 | rev. 3 | INCORRECT | Correct: The 44 pin IDC (0.75) male connector at the controller peripherals pic, is left mirrored. Pin 44 are pin 1, 43 are pin 2,etc. | APPROVED |
2009-05-25 09:16:15 | rev. 3 | INCORRECT | As mentioned before, The 44 pin IDC (0.75) male connector at the controller peripherals pic, is left mirrored. Pin 44 are pin 1, 43 are pin 2,etc. | APPROVED |

2010-09-21 04:05:35 | rev. 5 | INCORRECT | The Device end image is back to front and makes reading it confusing, and the key pin is not missing on the image. If you look at the apple power book pinout and ignore the jumper pins it makes more sense. P.S. Thanks for one of the most usefull resorces on the net | APPROVED |
2010-10-29 10:09:44 | rev. 6 | CORRECT | APPROVED
2012-08-17 04:26:30 | rev. 7 | CORRECT | Didn't see any errors, had an adapter that missed the 5volt logic pin (41) and used this to splice the 42 to the 41 as well and got the drive working =) | APPROVED |
2012-12-08 23:19:24 | rev. 8 | INCORRECT | Pin #36 is not listed | APPROVED |
2013-06-25 13:59:43 | rev. 8 | CORRECT | Correct but you forgot pin 36 | APPROVED |

2014-01-10 04:06:20 | rev. 9 | CORRECT | no errors | APPROVED |
2014-06-11 22:42:03 | rev. 9 | ERROR FIXED | You are missing pin 36 entirely (it's DA2) and your DA0 and DA1 definitions are off by one. Pin 35 is DA0 (Address 0), pin 33 is DA1 (Address 1), pin 36 is DA2 (Address 2.) DMARQ is drive-to-host (left pointing arrow), /DMACK is host-to-drive (right pointing arrow), and /IOCS16 is drive-to-host (left pointing arrow) - during a PIO operation it signifies the data transaction in process needs to be a 16 bit value. In DMA operations, it is never asserted, even though they are all 16 bit. PDIAG is grounded by the cable when an 80 pin cable is installed, or wired through to the drives with a 40 pin cable. SPSYNC:CSEL hasn't been used for spindle sync in probably decades now. It is grounded at the host; if a drive sees this pin grounded and has its CS jumper installed, it is the master/device 0, if it sees the pin floating and has its CS jumper installed, it is the slave/device 1. | APPROVED |
2014-07-08 02:17:26 | rev. 10 | ERROR FIXED | Pin spacing listed as 0.75" is incorrect. It should be 0.079" or 2 millimeter | APPROVED |
2014-12-16 14:37:32 | rev. 10 | CORRECT | Looks pretty good to me. Did not look at everything but it answered my questions. Thank you | APPROVED |
2015-12-02 14:48:25 | rev. 10 | CORRECT | I used it when I made the adapter Slim DVD (50pins) to IDE (44pins). It works by laptop. I didn't find any errors. | APPROVED |

2010-02-23 23:12:42 | rev. 3 | MUZAMMAL Baig | The IDC footprint is not 0.75" it is 2mm it is not listed in the list |
2010-04-18 14:47:33 | rev. 3 | It was silly to have to reference another document for the full pinout so I added the additional pins here.
2010-04-18 15:05:04 | rev. 5 | Jeff Mathews | Correction, no one seems to indicate where pin 1 starts... |
2010-09-27 22:24:02 | rev. 6 | Michael | Line 2 of the text should surely read 'Pin 20 may...' not Pin 19. The diagram above is correct - the text is not. |
2010-09-27 22:24:12 | rev. 6 | Michael | Surely Special note line 2 should read 'Pin 20 may...' not Pin 19. |
2011-03-23 14:29:33 | rev. 6 | william eyles | The word closes in Special Note: should be spelt closest. This note is important as it defines the position of pin 1. I verified this to be correct. |
