I wonder if somebody got confused because I notice that you also have the photo of the connector upside-down. Here are the correct connections (as I just verified for myself on two different Kensington cables with my multimeter): Serial - Mouse 1 - 2 2 - 6 3 - 7 4 - 4 5 - 5 6 - x (no connection) 7 - 8 8 - 3 9 - 1 I know this pinout works because I am using it currently. | APPROVED |
