CORRECT | Working with T720 as SMS terminal. W/o battery (3.8Vdc from linear stabiliser to battery pins) and soldered connection to back side of interface header. T720 cold started at 38400 baud. Powering thru pin3 w. 5..6Vdc not operated - SIM card not recognised. | APPROVED
ERROR FIXED | For v600 whith charge, pin 3 and 6 be shorted. USB D+ connect to pin4, USB D- connect to pin5. R=25 KOhm connect to pin1 and pin2. Do not pin 3 and 6 shorted in phone, must be in cable! | APPROVED
2010-09-10 03:47:21 | rev. 3 | CORRECT | On my E815, shorting pin 1 and 2 with the 25K resistor causes problems with USB mode (but the phone sucessfully charges). Removing the resistor makes USB mode work again... but the phone will complain with "Unable to charge". If you need to reflash a E815 with a dead battery, shorting 3 to 6 is enough to keep the phone ON during the flash. | APPROVED |
