2009-04-13 10:46:53rev. 2INCORRECTIn the computer world in terms of bits the symbols i.e. K, M, G, T, P etc. are used with prefix b, e.g. Kb, Mb, Gb, Tb, Pb etc.APPROVED
2011-02-27 12:09:07rev. 3CORRECTIt all appears to be correct. The symbol for micro currently lists "?" as the symbol; the correct symbol is the lower-case Greek letter mu [μ] -- it is an M, which has its first leg extending beneath the baseline (upon which most letters rest), and looks much like a lower-case "u". See picture @ . See HTML coding @ . Also, for computer symbols it may be worthwhile to note that the lower-case "b" is for bits and upper-case "B" is for bytes (Mb=Megabits, MB=Megabytes), although that does not exactly belong on this page.APPROVED
